Rod Lathim is a fourth-generation Santa Barbaran — an artist, theatre director, visionary producer, and spiritual seeker whose life has been a remarkable journey of creative expression and spiritual discovery.

From his formative years working at The Big Yellow House in Summerland — where he first encountered the spirit world — to decades of directing innovative theatre with Access Theatre, Rod has always lived at the intersection of art and spirit.

As a visual artist, his watercolors evoke ethereal, cosmic qualities — bridging the seen and unseen worlds that have defined his life’s work. His memoir traces a path through healing, self-acceptance, and the courageous pursuit of authenticity.
